The Paint Box was opened in April 2010 by the OG Paintboxer, Julie and the baton was passed over to me in January 2015.
Before owning The Paint Box, I spent most of my working life in education. I’ve worked with children and young people on the Autistic Spectrum, with challenging behaviour and with both learning and physical disabilities.
Here at The Paint Box childhood is celebrated and family is at the heart of everything we do. Laughter is more important than profit, the mess is embraced, and joy is put before all else. Just today, we stopped what we were doing to dance to Encanto with 3-year-old Margaux.
My speciality is capturing handprints and footprints, adding personalisation and hand-painted artwork to turn them into treasured keepsakes. My second in command, Chloe’s specialism is with the grown-ups with her talent for design and fine line work, she also makes the best cup of tea in Cleethorpes!
In a nutshell, The Paint Box is here with a warm welcome for all ages and abilities. Full of tips and tricks, specialty paints, and workshops to bring out your creative side or entertain the family.
