Princes are inclusive of all materials, glazing, firing, up to 10 words personalisation and basic decoration by the team if required.
Artwork by our team will incur additional charges, this will be agreed upon during the session.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking is not always essential but recommended during busy periods such as weekends, school holidays, and Christmas.
Please call ahead or book for prints with babies under 1, to ensure our hand and footprint specialist is available.
Booking for 3D prints, dog keepsakes and special events are essential.
Booking requests require at least 24 hours' notice, and same-day bookings should be made by calling the studio directly.
Is The Paint Box suitable for adults?
Absolutely! While families and children love visiting The Paint Box, pottery painting is a relaxing and enjoyable activity for adults too. Whether you're catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply taking some time for yourself, everyone is welcome.

What age is pottery painting suitable for?
Pottery painting is suitable for all ages. From tiny hand and footprint keepsakes for babies to creative sessions for children, teenagers, and adults, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
There is no age limit for new born prints, this is really up to when you feel comfortable.
How long does a session last?
Hand and footprint sessions are allocated 60 minutes but are usually much shorter. We allow the extra time for singing, joking, settling baby and Rach will likely want to hold your new bundle of joy.
Painting sessions are 1 hour 45 mins, extra time is often available on quiet days.
When will my pottery be ready to collect?
Once you've finished painting, your pottery needs to be professionally glazed and fired in the kiln.
Painting only items are ready in 7 days. You will not be contacted just collect after 12pm one week later.
Items can be rushed through depending on demand. Please call ahead to check.
Personalised items take 2-3 weeks. You will be contacted via text when they are ready.

Yes! We specialise in creating beautiful hand and footprint keepsakes for babies, children, families, and even pets. These personalised pieces make wonderful gifts and treasured memories.
Is The Paint Box inclusive and accessible?
Yes. Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We offer a range of skin-tone paints, ASD-friendly sessions, and strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels represented, comfortable, and valued.
Our studio does however have two steps at the entrance. Current specifications do not allow use of a ramp.
Can I book a party or group visit?
Yes! The Paint Box is a fantastic venue for birthday parties, baby showers, family gatherings, school groups, and other special occasions. Get in touch with us to discuss your requirements and we'll help create a memorable experience.

Yes. Gift vouchers are the perfect gif for creative kids and adults alike.

Can I bring my pet?
Dog and cat paw prints are adorable! So yes they are most welcome!
Pets prints must be booked in advance and take place out of hours or in our garden during fine weather.
Pets must not attend general studio sessions.
